Miss. Caroline's Children's Divison

Discipline is at the core of all our programs. However, equally important is our philosophy at Dance Conservatory of Pasadena to encourage a child’s spirit so that a love of dance is balanced with a strong technical foundation that ultimately inspires a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

This program introduces younger children to basic dance movement, musicality, and expression that form the foundations that eventually begin the serious study of the full repertoire of ballet positions and movement, as well as the artistic expression that brings joy to both the audience and the dancer.

CLASS LEVELS

Pre-Ballet 5-6 years old

Basic ballet positions and terminology are introduced in this 45 minute class. Girls are required to wear a lavender leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes.

Ballet 7-10 years old

Barre work, ballet technique, and terminology are introduced in this 60 minute class. Girls are required to wear a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.

Pre Tech Ballet

This class is for students who are interested in joining Tech 1 of the pre-professional program. Miss Caroline will focus on correct ballet positions, ballet technique as well as teaching correct terminology for the basic ballet steps.

Instructor approval required.

Creative Dance 3-4 years old

Rhythms, creative play, and basic ballet positions are introduced in this 30 minute class. Girls are required to wear pink leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes.
